Overview: Understanding the meanings of Eclipses. A south nodal eclipse is a time of endings. As a north nodal eclipse is a time of new beginnings. A Lunar Eclipse brings awareness. A cosmic report card if you will. A Solar Eclipse brings concentrated energy into our lives that can bring the changes from external or personal experiences that promote change. We had a south nodal Solar eclipse September 22, 2006 at 29 degrees of Virgo. A time of endings. The final degrees of a sign indicate the long over due energy, that which has out lived it's purpose. Virgo has domain over the analytical mind, work, health, daily routines, service to others, small pets, and coping skills. Eclipses have repeated cycles that return every 18-19 years. So we can look back into our memories of the years 1988-89 and recall the areas of our lives that were giving us concern or were giving us support. The theme is what is repeated. If you were involved in a relocation move, then you will be again or someone who matters to you will be the one moving. If a relationship was coming to an end then time has come again for a relationship ending. There would have been new beginnings in your life as well influenced by the North nodal Solar Eclipses that were occurring then as they are now. Each New Moon following the September Solar Eclipse has occurred in the latter degrees of the signs. Highlighting different areas that had out lived their purpose so changes were immediate and necessary. October's New Moon in Libra was bringing changes in relationships, arbitrations, litigation and social affairs. November's New Moon in Scorpio was bringing changes in births, deaths, taxes, indebtedness, insurance and medications. December's New Moon in Sagittarius was bringing changes in advertising, banking, commerce, education, foreign affairs, military matters, personal truth and publishing. January's New Moon in Capricorn was bringing changes in business, economy, government, politics, real estate, vocations and false structures. February's New moon in Aquarius was bringing changes in aeronautics, astrology, electricity, free will, friends, rebelliousness, research, science and one's wishes. The Lunar Eclipse March 3, 2007 is a south nodal influence. Bringing awareness to us of the people, situations or attitudes that need to be released so the necessary changes can begin. The Solar Eclipse March 18 at 28 degrees of Pisces is a north nodal influence. A time of beginnings. This Eclipse brings the September 22, 2006 Eclipse to a climax with the collective changes that have occurred in our lives, leaving time, energy and opportunities for the new beginnings we shall soon be experiencing. The final degrees of the sign indicate the beginnings have been long over due in their making. A desire or need that has been with you for some time now, waiting to be realized. Pisces has domain over the intangible, sacrifice, poverty, secrets, self - injury or self- undoing, confinement of any kind, charity, dancing, photography, spiritualism and visions. This Eclipse is being squared by Pluto in Sagittarius. Creating a personal challenge to bring into being your contribution and talents that you possess in a creative manner that will benefit you and those in your life.
